The Riverwalk Theater

Serving up food for thought
and some tasty treats

Make it stand out

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

The Riverwalk Theater in Edwards is holding fast amidst the evolution of the ways in which we consume entertainment, especially post pandemic. While the convenience of on demand viewing has its merits, there something to be said for the communal experience of watching a story unfold on a three-story screen, without distraction or disruption. The sheer scale has a unique ability to sweep you away.

And of course, to complete the experience of an afternoon or evening of cinema are the lovely concessions. Upgrade their “Hot Date” special (a large popcorn and two fountain drinks) with a drizzle of truffle oil, or try a pretzel or pizza slice from the Village Bagel across the way—all baked fresh daily. Perhaps a Pork Belly BLT sounds good, or the Chopped Brisket Sandwich is a must try, finished with housemade pimento cheese and pickled red onion on a challah roll. It comes served with a side of house chips—and boy is it good! Enjoy some soft serve ice cream, or if you’re in the mood for some libations, they have a cocktail menu and several beer on tap.

Beyond just being the place where you can go see the latest Hollywood releases, The Riverwalk Theatre is a true community hub, featuring occasional events for the whole family featuring classic films. Screening rooms can also be rented for celebrations, special events or fund raisers. Riverwalk Theatre also plays host to the Walking Mountain Science Center’s Sustainable Film Series. These award-winning independent films are open to the public free
of charge, helping raise awareness and encouraging community dialogue about issues important to us all.
